Best Things -- Third Quarter

Already at the end of the third quarter, here are the best things so far this year, according to me, somewhatfortyplus.

Jack's wedding and new bride -- classic elegance. Captiva Island family vacation which gave us time together that nothing can replace. Val winning the cancer war. Wearing skirts and heels again. Completing two book proposals. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Acquiring paid speaking gigs. Using IQ Derma wrinkle reducer and/or wrinkle remover products. Meeting Erin at Salon Buzz. Making thick and rich vegetable soup from scratch. Maintaining my weight. Painting the bedroom navy blue. Adding green to the list of colors to wear. Selling a colt. Having a filly. Watching flowers grow. TECH cocktail Conference in Chicago with 300 people, 40 speakers, exhausting but excellent. TECH cocktail events in DC, Boston, Chicago, and Boulder with over 2000 people plus. Sharing a big birthday with FJ. Sharing an even bigger birthday with the family. Spending wonderful relaxing afternoons at the East Bank Club. Visiting a chiropractor. Facials. Picking hydrangeas and peonies. Sleeping late.

Hopefully a quick review of your three quarters will provide a new found appreciation of your wonderful life. What were some of your highlights?
